Laetitia du Couëdic
Professional Rider
Laetitia du Couedic was born on the 6th of June 1996, in Toronto. She speaks 4 different languages fluently (French, English, German and Spanish). In 2013, her family acquired the Ecuries de la Renfile in Jussy, in the countryside of Geneva, that offer exceptional environment and services for sport horses.
Following her mother’s steps, Laetitia started riding when she was 4 years old. Her first good results came early and Laetitia evolved quickly until she integrated the Junior Swiss team and obtained a gold medal at the junior European championships 2013. That same year, Laetitia also won a gold medal at the Swiss championships.
After a bilingual High School diploma obtained in 2014, Laetitia chooses to begin a career as a professional horse rider. To put the odds in her favour, she decides to spend a year in Deauville at Kevin Staut’s facilities, in order to complete her training.
After a very enriching year, Laetitia then joins Daniel Bluman’s team and acompanies him on at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida. She wanted to discover the american system and to improve her own training system.
Back in Switzerland, Laetitia is selected to be part of the training program for young european talents : A Young Riders Academy, until 2017.
Laetitia then decides to stay in Geneva, at her family stables, a perfect environment adapted to manage her top sport horses and to form younger ones.
